Customs officers to declare property and income in Uzbekistan
On February 17, under the chairmanship of the President, a meeting was held on the further improvement of customs administration in 2022 and the priority tasks of transforming the sphere into a system free from corruption.
During the meeting, it became known that declaration of income and property would be introduced in the customs system.
In addition, within a month, employees who have worked at the same customs post for three years will be rotated.
Starting from March 1 of this year, the customs authorities will be accepted only on the basis of an open competition.
Depending on the results of the work, customs officers will also be paid an additional bonus of up to 50%. The allowances will be determined based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Customs officers who work in remote and hard-to-reach areas will receive a bonus.
