UzAuto Motors suspends concluding contracts for Malibu-2
It is unknown when the company will start accepting new applications.
UzAuto Motors has stopped accepting new applications for the sale of Malibu-2 from February 22, 2022.
According to an official of the company, this is a temporary situation. From March, the contract for cars of this model may be renewed, but no exact date has been announced.
“Equipment for cars of this model comes from abroad, thus we assemble them and deliver to customers. There are certain numbers for this model, and contracts for this car have fully been concluded.
Once the number of cars to be assembled is clear, we will start accepting contracts again. There is no exact information on when this will start. It is likely to open in March,” the company’s official said.
It is also unclear whether the price of the Malibu-2 could be increased.
Earlier, UzAuto Motors stopped accepting new applications for the sale of Nexia, Spark, Cobalt and Lacetti cars from December 20, 2021 to February 1, 2022, citing a shortage of semiconductors. But since February 1, the process has not resumed.
