EU and Central Asian Special Representatives for Afghanistan discussing reconstruction of the country 

A conference of special representatives of the EU and Central Asian countries on Afghanistan began its work in Tashkent, the Uzbek MFA reports.

It is planned to discuss international and regional efforts for a peaceful resolution of the Afghan crisis, the active involvement of Afghanistan in regional integration processes, the economic recovery of the country and the implementation of various projects on its territory.

Uzbekistan is represented at the conference by the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev.
