Uzbekistan officially canceling mandatory mask regime
From March 1 this year, the mandatory mask regime in open spaces will be canceled. The Special Republican Commission to combat coronavirus has issued a relevant statement.
However, people are recommended to wear medical masks in the following places:
- public transport;
- large shopping centers;
- educational institutions;
- state and non-state institutions;
- mosques, theaters, cinemas, museums and other places where there is a congestion of people.
The document states that during working hours, employees of medical institutions are required to wear masks.
