Uzbekistan increases fruit and vegetable exports
In January 2022, Uzbekistan exported 78.6 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables worth $55.1 million.
According to the State Statistics Committee, exports increased by 14.8 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
The volume of exports during the reporting period:
- Fruits and berries - 10.1 thousand tons
- Dried fruits and berries - 3.7 thousand tons
- Vegetables - 45.4 thousand tons
- Pepper - 1.7 thousand tons
- Tomato - 5.7 thousand tons
- Grapes - 6.6 thousand tons
- Raisins - 7.1 thousand tons
- Walnuts - 1.8 thousand tons
- Watermelon - 277.6 thousand tons
