Microcreditbank employees embezzle 1.1 billion UZS in Kashkadarya
Employees of the bank’s branch in the Karshi district misappropriated credit funds.
The regional department of the Prosecutor General’s Office conducted a pre-investigation check on the appeal of the Karshi branch of JSCB Microcreditbank.
During the investigation, it was revealed that a local man named B.S., in conspiracy with officials of the bank, established an LLC, which was allocated a loan of 1.9 billion soums. 1.1 billion soums of the loan were embezzled.
It is noted that a criminal case has been initiated under Article 167 of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan (theft), an investigation is underway.
