21-year-old Uzbek man dies of road accident being evacuated from Ukraine
During the evacuation, a 21-year-old Uzbek man was killed in a tragic road accident on the Polish border.
Three Uzbek citizens were involved in a car accident on the Polish border, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Ukraine Alisher Kurmanov wrote about it on his Facebook page.
According to him, three citizens of Uzbekistan: Khakimov Otabek Ravshanbek ugli (born in 2001), Khusainov Bekhzod Jamoliddin ugli (born in 2001) and Solokhiddinov Sherzod Shavkat ugli (born in 2001) were involved in a car accident at the border with Poland.
As a result of the tragic incident, Khakimov Otabek died at the scene. The other two Uzbeks were hospitalized in Lviv.
In view of these events, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kiev immediately sent a representative of the group of embassy volunteers, a qualified doctor Temurbek Yusupov to Lviv. He is expected to arrive in Lviv today, March 5.
“Expressing condolences to the relatives of Hakimov Otabek, we assure all the relatives and friends of the injured compatriots that the embassy will make every effort to save their lives, including the provision of medicines and consultation with leading Ukrainian doctors.
The embassy will also make efforts to send Otabek Khakimov’s body to his homeland as soon as possible,” the report reads.
