Public bus hits two pedestrians on a crosswalk in Tashkent
One of the pedestrians was killed. A 5-year-old pedestrian was taken to the hospital.
According to the MIA Traffic Safety Department press service, at 11:30 on March 8 this year, a MAN bus driver (born in 1996) hit two pedestrian at a regulated pedestrian crossing while driving on Chilanzar Street.
As a result, pedestrian R.Z. (born in 1952) died at the hospital due to fatal bodily injuries. Pedestrian R.E. (born in 2017) was hospitalized with a diagnosis of “head injury”.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 266-2 of the Criminal Code.
