Russia lifts restrictions on flights to Uzbekistan
Russia has lifted restrictions on flights to Uzbekistan imposed due to the pandemic, the Federal Air Transport Agency said.
“On March 9, 2022, in accordance with the decision of the Russian government, restrictions on regular flights to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Iran, previously introduced as part of preventing the spread of COVID-19, have been lifted,” the statement says.
Flights will be operated in both directions on the basis of the provisions of bilateral intergovernmental agreements on air traffic and separate agreements of the authorities on air traffic.
