Uzbekistan increases wheat flour imports
Uzbekistan, in the first month of 2022, imported 26.8 thousand tons of wheat flour for $8.5 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of wheat flour imports increased by 2.9 thousand tons compared to the corresponding period last year.
Most of all, Uzbekistan bought wheat flour from Kazakhstan (26.6 thousand tons), Russia (152 tons), the USA (50 tons) and Italy (4.2 tons).
In January 2022, Uzbekistan’s volume of imports amounted to more than $2 billion.
