Mother tries to sell her baby for 20 million soums in Surkhandarya
A 21-year-old woman was arrested while attempting to sell her newborn baby.
A mother (born in 2001) was detained in Denau district, Surkhandarya region, for trying to sell her baby.
On March 12, 2022, at 17:30, M.A. gave birth to her baby girl at the perinatal center. Allegedly, she agreed to sell her child for 20 million soums to citizen A.N., and the mother was detained while receiving the money.
On this fact, a criminal case has been instituted against M.A. under Paragraph “a” of Article 135-3 of the Criminal Code.
