Uzbekistan launches another flight to evacuate citizens from Ukraine
On March 23, 2022, 146 citizens of Uzbekistan, including 42 women, 12 minors and 2 babies, were brought from Ukraine through Katowice airport in Poland.
According to the MFA, from February 28 to March 24, 27 flights were organized and 6,030 Uzbeks were returned from the war zones.
The Uzbek embassy in Ukraine (temporarily located in Lviv), together with the Uzbek embassy in Poland, is in constant contact with citizens and coordinates their evacuation, the report said.
Earlier, the Foreign Ministry’s Dunyo IA reported that the process of evacuating Uzbek citizens from Ukraine had been completed.
