Uzbekistan increases fruit and vegetable exports
In January-February 2022, Uzbekistan exported about 164 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables for $113.7 million.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the volume of exports has increased by 33 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
The export of fruits and vegetables during the reporting period:
- fruits and berries - 19.2 thousand tons
- dried fruits and berries - 8.7 thousand tons
- vegetables - 100.4 thousand tons
- pepper - 2.6 thousand tons
- tomato - 12.5 thousand tons
- grapes - 9.5 thousand tons
- raisins - 15.2 thousand tons
- peanuts - 4.2 thousand tons
- melon and watermelon - 337 tons
