A man detained in Tashkent for attempting to illegally sell 2 hectares for $800,000
The lawbreaker was going to sell the land, which is under the ban. He was detained while receiving a prepayment in the amount of $80,000.

On March 30, employees of the Prosecutor General’s Office, together with other responsible departments, held an operative event in the Bektemir district, during which they prevented the illegal sale of a land plot, the PGO press service reported.
The man promised a “client” to sell 2 hectares of land allocated for the construction of a greenhouse and currently under a ban. For every hundred square meters, the offender demanded $4,000.
In general, he intended to sell 2 hectares for $800,000.
The wrongdoer promised the “client” that he would lift the ban through the relevant authorities and provide documents allowing construction work on this land plot.
The fraudster was detained while receiving a prepayment in the amount of $80,000.
A criminal case was initiated against him under Article 168 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code.
