Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan discuss prospects for expanding cooperation in field of pharmaceuticals and healthcare
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov held a meeting with the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Teymur Musayev, a Dunyo correspondent reports.
During the meeting, the parties noted the importance of intensifying and deepening cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical science, and also discussed the prospects for further development of cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry.
The minister stressed that Baku and Tashkent are successfully cooperating in various areas and expressed hope for further successful development of cooperation in the field of healthcare, medical science and other areas.
The Ambassador, in turn, confirmed the interest of Uzbekistan in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan on the exchange of modern methodological and scientific-practical information in the field of continuous professional education of medical specialists, as well as organizing mutual visits of highly qualified doctors to participate in events for the exchange of experience and advanced training.
