Uzbekistan’s new ambassador to UAE departs for Abu Dhabi
On April 11, Abdulaziz Akkulov left Tashkent for Abu Dhabi.
He was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates in early April.
Abdulaziz Akkulov was born in 1985. In 2007, he graduated from the Tashkent State University of Economics. He received his master's degree in international tourism management.
Akkulov began his career in 2005 at the Uzstandard agency. From 2006 to 2017, he held various positions in the national company Uzbektourism.
In 2017-2020, he worked as the head of department, deputy, first deputy chairman, acting chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan.
In 2021, was the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
