The individuals had been placed on international wanted lists through Interpol channels over suspected involvement in crimes of varying severity.
The extraditions were carried out through cooperation between the Interpol National Central Bureaus of Uzbekistan and the UAE. The two sides regularly exchange information and coordinate efforts to identify people wanted internationally and return them to Uzbekistan.
Since the beginning of this year, 16 internationally wanted individuals have been extradited from the UAE to Uzbekistan at the initiative of Uzbekistan’s Interpol National Central Bureau.
Authorities said efforts are continuing to locate wanted individuals hiding abroad and return them to Uzbekistan in accordance with established legal procedures.
