Uzbekistan’s potato imports up by 70 thousand tons
In January-March 2022, Uzbekistan imported 223.8 thousand tons of potatoes from ten countries for $38.6 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, potato imports increased by almost 70 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the republic imported potatoes mainly from the following countries:
- Pakistan - 172.2 thousand tons
- Kazakhstan - 20.1 thousand tons
- Russia - 13.3 thousand tons
- Kyrgyzstan - 7.5 thousand tons
- Iran - 5.4 thousand tons
- Afghanistan - 4 thousand tons
- Belarus - 631.6 tons
- Netherlands - 595 tons
