Uzbekistan considerably increases passenger car imports in Q1
In the first three months of 2022, Uzbekistan imported 8,508 cars from 21 countries for $189.3 million.

According to the State Statistics Committee, passenger car imports increased by 5,361 units or 2.7 times compared to the same period last year.
During the reporting period, the republic imported cars mainly from the following countries:
- China - 4,482
- Korea Republic - 2,101
- Kazakhstan - 1,019
- Russia - 741
- USA - 70
- Japan - 27
- Germany - 23
- Thailand - 10
- UAE - 9
- Hong Kong - 7
Also, 455 electric cars were imported to Uzbekistan in Q1 2022.
