Individuals who earned almost 700 million soums through a financial pyramid detained in Jizzakh 

They organized an “online talk” on Instagram and Telegram, promising to give those who gave 200,000 soums or $50 a quick increase of that money by 7-8 times.

According to the PGO press service, Yu.M., Sh.I. and others advertised that in March 2022, the game “Gift Of Legacy” would be multiplied by 7-8 times in the short term if the organizers transferred at least 200,000 soums or $50 to the plastic card specified by the organizers.

They formed a group on Telegram called “200,000 soums and $50 online talk” and managed to transfer 692.3 million soums of the game participants to plastic cards by themselves and their acquaintances. The fraudsters transferred part of the money from the next participants to the first participants.

On the above fact, a criminal case has been initiated against lawbreakers under Article 188-1 of the Criminal Code (illegal activity on attraction of funds and (or) other property). Currently, an investigation is underway.
