Tashkent police detain two men for trying to illegally sell a land plot for $1 million
Two men have been detained in Tashkent for trying to illegally sell 1 hectare of land for $1 million.

They were arrested after a citizen appealed to law enforcement officers about the deal.
In the course of an operational event carried out by employees of the Department for Combating Corruption and Economic Crimes, two men were caught red-handed while receiving an advance payment of $200,000.
On this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 4 of Article 168 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. Investigations are ongoing.
