Afghanistan starts distributing humanitarian aid received from Uzbekistan to its provinces
Yesterday, a ceremony of distribution of humanitarian aid, previously transferred by Uzbekistan, took place in the Kaldar district of Balkh province.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the participants expressed their deep gratitude to the leadership of the republic and stressed the timeliness of the assistance provided.
The head of the district M. Vali noted that the humanitarian assistance of Uzbekistan plays an important role in ensuring the well-being of the population of the northern regions of Afghanistan, in particular the Balkh province.
Food kits consisting of flour, vegetable oil, wheat, rice, pasta, canned food, clothes and more will also be sent to the provinces of Kunduz, Samangan, Takhar and Jowzjan, where severe floods and mudflows occurred a month ago.
