Law enforcement bodies prevent illicit circulation of medicines in Tashkent region

In Chirchik, Tashkent region, a situation with the sale of medicines outside the pharmacy was revealed, the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes reported.

It was noted that the Chirchik city branch of the PGO Department, together with the State Security Service, carried out an operative event.

Citizen Sh.S. was caught with physical evidence when he sold 100 boxes of “Geparen-belmed” medicine and 600 boxes of “Kleksan” to citizen D. for 134.5 million soums in order to earn money by drug trafficking.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 186-3 of the Criminal Code (Sale of medicines or medical products outside pharmacies and their branches).

Currently, an investigation is underway.
