Uzbekistan’s FTT at $20.5 billion in five months
In January-May 2022, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan reached $20.5 billion.
Compared to the corresponding period of 2021, the figure increased by $5.6 billion, the State Statistics Committee said.
During the reporting period, the republic exported products ($7.2 billion) and services ($1.1 billion) for a total of $8.3 billion.
Imports, in the meantime, were recorded at $12.2 billion (products - $11.2 billion, services - $930 million).
The negative balance of FTT amounted to $3.9 billion in January-May 2022, the report says.
