Tashkent city registered 13,114 such entities, while the Tashkent region accounted for 2,901.
The regional breakdown also included the Samarkand region with 754, the Fergana region 659, the Surkhandarya region 630, the Andijan region 519, the Bukhara region 449, the Syrdarya region 341, the Navoi region 335, the Namangan region 331, the Jizzakh region 283, the Republic of Karakalpakstan 258, the Khorezm region 214, and the Kashkadarya region 185.
Earlier, the committee reported 445,700 active commercial organizations as of August 1, 2026, with limited liability companies (LLCs) accounting for 80.1%, or 356,812, of the total. Private enterprises numbered 47,241 organizations, or 10.6%, while family enterprises totaled 37,345, or 8.4%. Joint-stock companies stood at 646, representing 0.1% of all commercial organizations, and 3,653 organizations, or 0.8%, fell under other legal forms.
