Mirziyoyev said government policies had improved living conditions for around 10 million people. A neighborhood-based support system was introduced to help low-income families, covering household income, employment, healthcare, children’s education and housing conditions.
More than 650,000 families have received modern housing, the president said.
Over the past decade, preschool education coverage has risen to 78%, while schools have added 1.5 million student places. The number of university students has reached 1.6 million, with women accounting for more than half of the total.
The president also highlighted changes in healthcare. Funding for the sector has increased more than eightfold in recent years, while 652 new medical facilities have been built across the country. The volume of medical services has tripled, according to Mirziyoyev.
Life expectancy has also increased, rising from 66.4 years in 1991 to 75.4 years in 2025. Meanwhile, maternal and infant mortality rates have fallen fourfold, he said.
