Powers of attorney for driving vehicles to be issued online from September 1

A presidential decree “On the creation of additional amenities in driving vehicles and operating linear taxis” was adopted.

According to the document, from September 1 this year, electronic registration of a power of attorney for driving vehicles through a single portal of interactive public services will be established.

Notarization of an electronic power of attorney will not be required, it will be checked electronically by traffic police officers.

The state fee for an electronic power of attorney will be charged in comparison with the state fee established for notarization of a power of attorney (three BCAs - 900,000 soums), in the following percentages:

- for up to 1 month - 10% (90,000 soums);
- for up to 6 months - 50% (450,000 soums);
- for up to 3 years - 100% (900,000 soums).
