Statistics Committee says there are more men in Uzbekistan than women
The State Statistics Committee has provided data on the permanent population of Uzbekistan.
According to the committee, as of July 1, 2022, the permanent population of the republic was 35,603,443 people.
Of this, 17,913,057 are men and 17,690,386 are women, the committee noted.
The number of men in the permanent population is 222,671 more than the number of women.
