The birth distribution indicates a nearly even split between urban and rural areas. Urban births accounted for 343,400, or 49.5% of the total, while rural births slightly outnumbered urban births with 350,500, making up 50.5%.
Monthly data for gender distribution showed minimal fluctuation, with boys consistently representing approximately 51.8% to 52.2% of all births each month, while girls made up around 48.0% to 48.2%. In January, 51.9% of births were boys, a trend that continued with similar percentages each month. Notably, in July, 47,270 boys were born alongside 44,170 girls, showing one of the highest monthly totals within the period.
The slight variance month-to-month highlights a stable gender distribution pattern throughout 2024, indicating balanced demographic growth across the country.
