Uzbekistan, South Korea discuss issues of full-scale expansion of special strategic partnership
On July 12, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Yo Seung-bae, who arrived in our country.

According to the MFA, the parties exchanged views on a wide range of bilateral agenda of Uzbek-South Korean cooperation, as well as regional and international issues.
The high dynamics of bilateral exchanges in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres was noted with satisfaction, which indicates mutual interest in further promotion and full-scale expansion of the special strategic partnership between the two countries.
Attention was focused on the comprehensive implementation of the agreements at the highest level reached following the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea in December 2021.
The schedule of upcoming joint bilateral and multilateral events was discussed, including the celebration of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea, which is celebrated this year.
