Statistics Committee provides data on average monthly salary of Uzbek citizens
In the first half of this year, the average monthly salary of citizens increased by about 16% compared to the same period last year.

In January-June 2022, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in the republic amounted to 3 million 540 thousand soums, says the State Committee on Statistics.
It is noted that for the reporting period of last year, citizens received an average of 2 million 968 thousand soums per month.
In terms of regions, the highest level of the average monthly salary was recorded in the city of Tashkent (5.48 million soums) and Navoi region (4.85 million soums), the lowest - in Samarkand and Fergana regions (2.66 million soums). The data is provided without taking into account business entities and agricultural enterprises.
In terms of industries, the highest level of average monthly wages was observed in banking, insurance, leasing and credit-intermediary activities (9.14 million soums), information and communications (6.69 million soums), the lowest - in education (2.58 million soums), health and social services (2.37 million soums).
