STC returned 248 billion soums of cashback to consumers in six months
The State Tax Committee paid cashback to 637,115 consumers in the amount of 61.9 billion soums for the month of June, the committee’s press service reported. Thus, since the beginning of the year, the amount paid to 885,829 citizens has reached 248.6 billion soums.
STC eliminated the deficiencies and paid 732.2 million soums of unreturned cashback to consumers for the months of January-May.
Earlier, the list of business entities whose receipts are registered the most was published. It shows that Korzinka, Havas and Makro stores are leading in providing cashback vouchers.
In addition, the State Tax Committee has published a list of regions active in cashback receipt registration. According to it, the city of Tashkent is the leading region in validating receipts for cashback – 8.5 million receipts. Kashkadarya (867,972), Fergana (824,910) and Khorezm (770,906) regions are in the next places. Bukhara (414,775), Navoi (360,660), Surkhandarya (287,310), Jizzakh (282,581) and Syrdarya (210,618) regions recorded low numbers of receipts.
It should be recalled that from January 1, 2022, 1% cashback of the purchase amount is being returned to the bankcards of individuals.
