Archaeological monuments destroyed in two districts of Kashkadarya
As a result of destruction of historical monuments, the state interests sustained damage worth about 2 billion soums.

According to the PGO press service, a part of the archaeological monument “Chordangitepa” of X-XII centuries, located in Yakkabog district of Kashkadarya region, was demolished by citizen M.F. and houses were built in its place. Consequently, 315 million soums of damage was caused to the state interests.
In addition, as a result of the destruction of a part of the archeological monument “Nomsiztepa” of the VI-VII centuries in Samarkand district by unknown persons, a huge damage in the amount of 1.5 billion soums was caused to the state interests.
On these facts, criminal cases have been initiated. Currently, an investigation is underway.
