The President of Uzbekistan signed a decree on awarding Achilbay Ramatov with the Order of “Mehnat shuhrati”.
According to the text of the document, for many years of effective work in government agencies, strengthening of the country’s independence, increasing its economic power, successful implementation of large-scale reforms, large-scale creative projects, comprehensive development of regions, great contribution to the development of the country and improvement of the people’s well-being with organizational qualities, his exemplary work in educating the young generation in the spirit of loyalty to the Motherland, training highly qualified personnel and on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary, the First Deputy PM Achilbay Ramatov was awarded the Order of “Mehnat shuhrati”.
Achilbay Ramatov was born in Khorezm region in 1962. He has been the First Deputy Prime Minister since 2016. He worked as the Minister of Transport (2019-2020), the Board Chairman of Uzbekistan Railways (2002-2019), the Senate member (2015-2020), the President of Uzbekistan Boxing Federation (since 2012) and the President of Uzbekistan Football Federation (2018-2019).
In 2000, A. Ramatov was awarded the state title “Honored Industrial Worker of Uzbekistan”, in August 2007 – the Order of “Fidokorona xizmatlari uchun”, in August 2011 – the Order of “El-yurt hurmati”, in 2013 – the title “Hero of Uzbekistan”, and in 2015 – the Order of “Friendship” of Russia.
