Moscow Exchange to start trading in Uzbek soum
On September 12, trading in the currency pair “Uzbek soum - Russian ruble” (UZS/RUB) begins on the currency market of the Moscow Exchange.
According to the press service of the exchange, the new currency pair will expand the trading opportunities of professional market participants, their clients – individuals and legal entities, including subjects of foreign economic activity, and will also become an additional incentive for the development of settlements in national currencies for economic entities of both countries.
The currency pair “Uzbek soum - Russian ruble” will be traded on the spot market with settlements “today” and “tomorrow”.
Also, overnight swap transactions will be available to trading participants and their clients.
