Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrives in Samarkand
The President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Samarkand at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
According to the presidential press service, he was met at the airport by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.
The high-ranking guest visited Islam Karimov’s mausoleum in Hazrat Khizr complex, paid respect to the memory of the first president and laid flowers on his grave.


The Turkish leader will participate in the SCO summit as an honored guest.
Also, Erdoğan is expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings.
