Uzbekistan is helping Russia circumvent sanctions by selling American and Japanese civilian components needed to build missiles.

This was stated by the representative of the main intelligence department of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky in an interview with La Repubblica.

“The Russian authorities also turned to China and North Korea, possibly Kyrgyzstan, for the supply of weapons, in particular balls for MLRS - Smerch and Uragan. There are countries such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan that help Russia circumvent sanctions by selling them American and Japanese civilian components needed to build missiles,” he said.

A representative of Ukrainian intelligence noted that the Russians do not have the ultra-modern weapons that they demonstrate at military parades.

“It’s just staged. Moscow cannot produce high-tech weapons on its own, so it turns to other countries,” Skibitsky added.

The other day it was reported that the countries neighboring Russia suddenly increased the import of European household appliances, including washing machines, refrigerators and even electric breast pumps, and at the same time its export to Russia. According to Bloomberg, this causes concern among European officials. They believe that Russia may use some of the components of them for military purposes.

It should be recalled that earlier on the YouTube channel “Visiting Gordon” an interview was published with a Russian-Israeli businessman, one of the former heads of the Yukos oil company, Leonid Nevzlin. During the interview, Dmitry Gordon stated that, according to his information, Iranian drones are produced in Iraq and Uzbekistan. Nevzlin confirmed this fact.

Later, Dmitry Gordon apologized to the people of Uzbekistan and thanked them for their support. The journalist said that he confused Uzbekistan with Tajikistan.
