Some entrepreneurs and government agencies do not operate in Tashkent due to disrupted gas and electricity supply

Earlier, weather forecasters reported that cooling would increase in Uzbekistan. At the same time, part of the capital was left without natural gas, and electricity is massively cut off at places. Some entrepreneurs are closing businesses due to lack of electricity and hospitals are closed. And this is only in mid-November. Long winter days are ahead of the people of Uzbekistan.

As the Potrebitel.uz community reported, problems with gas supply do not stop in the Chilanzar district (blocks Ts-5-6-7-8-9-13-15-18-19 kV), in the Uchtepa district (blocks 14- 21-22-31), in Yunusabad district (blocks 2-6-15), on Kuylyuk, on Iftikhor and Abay Kunanbayev streets of Yashnabad district, Azerbaijan Cultural Center area, Furkat park area, Sarakulka, Archakucha, Karakamish 2/4, “Tukmachi” mahalla, Khasanbay, Karasaray Almazar, Novomoskovsk, Khovast street of Yashnabad district, Bolshaya Mirabadskaya, Ashrafiy and Yashnabad.

Reportedly, the most problematic districts are Chilanzar, Uchtepa, Mirabad and Yashnabad. There are many complaints from Yunusabad, Yangikhayot and Shaykhantakhur districts.

In the Samarkand region, the Pastdargom district was left without gas. The situation is similar in many areas of the Fergana Valley.

According to Potrebitel.uz, in Tashkent, an entrepreneur stopped his activities and fired 20 employees only because the company’s activities are connected with natural gas, and it was impossible to work under low pressure.

It also became known that on November 13, the clinical hospital in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent was completely without electricity from 13:00 to 19:40.

Power outages were also reported in Mirzo-Ulugbek, Mirabad, Chilanzar, Shaykhantakhur, Almazar, Yashnabad and Yangikhayot districts of Tashkent. The situation is worse in the regions.

At night, all the fish in the aquarium died from the cold, a resident of Tashkent said.

“Blackouts in Sputnik turn life into a medieval hell. Everything is on electricity there: stoves, hot water, and heating from boiler houses in the neighborhoods. If there is no electricity in the Sputnik, then the residents will neither eat nor drink tea, nor take a bath, nor keep warm,” the message says.

According to a Kun.uz correspondent, many state institutions in the regions also work intermittently due to lack of electricity. In particular, one of the interlocutors of Kun.uz said that he could not take data from the tax office, since there was no electricity there. The situation is similar in other state institutions, where the entire system is powered by electricity.

Earlier it was reported that in many regions of Uzbekistan, electricity has often been cut off recently. There is almost no gas or the pressure is too low. This is the first time such frequent shutdowns have occurred in five years. Local residents were left without gas and electricity. The Ministry of Energy again talked about old problems.
