Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan and Russia sign over ten documents following the meeting in Samarkand

At the meeting chaired by the prime ministers of Uzbekistan and Russia, the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for strengthening the strategic partnership and mutual cooperation between the countries were discussed.
On September 15 of this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vladimir Putin signed a declaration on a comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia. Governments are tasked with the comprehensive development of practical cooperation in various fields.
At the meeting, the sides agreed to ensure the implementation of promising investment projects and trade deals and to boost cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
The parties expressed interest in expanding cooperation in the field of transport and transit. The need to continue cooperation on the formation of reliable transport-logistics chains in transit cargo transportation through the regions was emphasized.
Following the meeting, more than ten documents aimed at further development of mutual cooperation were signed.
