Statistics Committee names countries where Uzbeks traveled most for tourism purposes

According to the State Statistics Committee, among the countries where Uzbeks have traveled the most for tourism purposes, Kyrgyzstan occupies the first place – 2.2 million people.

The next places are taken by Kazakhstan and Tajikistan, where 870,000 and 615,200 Uzbeks traveled for tourism purposes, respectively.

The figure for other countries:

• Turkey - 264 thousand people;
• Russia - 210.3 thousand people;
• UAE - 98 thousand people;
• Saudi Arabia - 54,700 people;
• Egypt - 31.9 thousand people;
• South Korea - 19,200 people;
• USA - 13,900 people;
• India - 8,500 people;
• Georgia - 7.8 thousand people.
