Uzbekistan and Sweden plan to expand cooperation in financial sector
Uzbekistan’s Chargé d'affaires in Sweden Nodir Ganiyev held talks with the Swedish Finance Ministry official Daniel Sonesson.

During the talks, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral economic cooperation and prospects for activating collaboration in the financial sector between Uzbekistan and Sweden within the framework of the Kingdom’s presidency in the European Union.
The Swedish side confirmed their participation in the next annual meeting of the EBRD Board of Directors to be held in May 2023 in Samarkand.
The parties reached an agreement on the continuation of practical relations, the organization of joint seminars, roundtable discussions and other events between the ministries of finance of the two countries.
