Head of district medical association arrested for receiving a bribe in Kashkadarya

The head of the district medical association of Karshi district was caught while accepting a bribe, the press secretary of the prosecutor’s office of Kashkadarya region reported.

Allegedly, an operative event was held in cooperation with law enforcement agencies regarding the application of citizen S.K.

At the event, the head of Karshi district medical association M.M. was detained red-handed when he received $500 as a bribe via S.A., who works as a senior nurse in the institution in exchange for hiring citizen S.K.

It is noted that the Regional PGO Department initiated a criminal case under Article 210 of the Criminal Code (bribery).

Currently, the Karshi district prosecutor’s office is conducting preliminary investigations.
