On January 9, a cold air mass formed in the northern regions of the European part of Russia is expected to enter the territory of Uzbekistan.
According to Uzhydromet, almost all regions of the republic might experience rain and snow on January 9-11.
On January 9-10, the wind may increase to 15-20 m/s in some places.
Anomalous cold weather is expected in the republic on January 10-15. Air temperature may drop to -17 degrees at night and -8 degrees during the day; in the northern regions, it falls to -22 degrees at night. In some places in Ustyurt and desert regions, -27 degrees might be recorded. The Fergana Valley is expected to experience air temperatures of -5, -10 degrees at night and -2, -5 degrees during the day.
The roads could be slippery in some places.
