Media: Doctors who exposed Doc-1 Max incident may be reinstated

Reportedly, seven people from Samarkand who were fired after the Doc-1 Max incident may be reinstated.

According to a Kun.uz source, on January 3, 2023, Minister of Health Amrillo Inoyatov talked with those who were fired after this sensational event. He allegedly spoke about reconsideration of the decision regarding the dismissed employees and their reinstatement.

“One of the dismissed leaders said that he was very satisfied with the meeting with the new minister. He expressed hope that justice will be restored soon,” the source said.

It was noted that Inoyatov also touched upon this issue at a meeting with industry representatives on January 4.

It should be recalled that at the names of these seven officials were not disclosed to the public. Kun.uz, relying on its source, reported that among them was the director of the Samarkand Regional Children’s Multidisciplinary Medical Center, Mamatkul Azizov, who reported above about the “fatal medicine”. After some time, the Ministry of Health confirmed this news.

After the Doc-1 Max incident, in addition to Azizov, the director of the Samarkand Regional Children’s Multidisciplinary Medical Center, this hospital’s hemodialysis specialist B. Ganiyev, the deputy head of the regional health department for maternal and child protection S. Muminov, the head of the maternal and child health development department specialist S. Rasulov, head of Almazar family polyclinic belonging to Taylak district medical association Kh. Muzaffarov, family doctor of this institution U. Makhmudov and midwife M. Siddikova were released from their positions.
