Uzbekistan’s army ranked 62nd in GFP
The analytical center Global Firepower has published a rating of the most powerful armies in the world.

According to the data, Uzbekistan ranked 62nd out of 145 countries. Last year, Uzbekistan ranked 55th.
Of the neighboring countries, Kazakhstan ranked 63rd, Turkmenistan - 82nd, Kyrgyzstan - 107th, Afghanistan - 114th and Tajikistan - 120th.
The USA, Russia and China topped the list, respectively. Top-10 also included India, the UK, South Korea, Pakistan, Japan, France and Italy.
Moldova, Benin and Bhutan were at the bottom of the ranking. Ukraine has risen to 15th place.
In Uzbekistan, the total number of human resources available for service is 13.5 million people. Every year, the number of potential recruits is replenished by 622 thousand people. Currently, 65 thousand people serve in the armed forces of Uzbekistan.
The total number of aircraft in the Air Force of Uzbekistan is 197 (58 fighters, 20 attack aircraft, 13 military transport aircraft, 7 trainers, as well as 99 helicopters and 33 attack helicopters).
The country has 420 tanks, 197 self-propelled artillery mounts and 143 multiple rocket launchers.
