An individual trying to smuggle air pistols and bullets into the country detained at Samarkand airport

According to the press service of the Customs Committee, customs officers were suspicious of the behavior of the citizen who flew in the Sheremetevo-Samarkand flight at the Samarkand airport. After that, an investigation was conducted with the participation of impartial parties.
As a result, when the luggage bag belonging to R.Kh. was inspected in the prescribed manner, it was revealed that he tried to bring in 1 pneumatic pistol with a caliber of 4.5 mm worth 5 million soums, 4 compressed air cylinders and 89 bullets belonging to this pistol without proper permits.
According to the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, the defendant R.Kh. was sentenced to a fine of 1,500,000 soums (5 BCAs).
Also, 1 pneumatic pistol with a caliber of 4.5 mm, 4 compressed air cylinders and 89 bullets belonging to this pistol were destroyed in the appropriate order.
