Plane flying from Samarkand to St. Petersburg lands in Moscow due to a heavy snowstorm
Airbus A321 with 179 passengers on board landed at Domodedovo airport.
Due to unfavorable weather conditions at the destination airport, Uzbekistan Airways flight HY639, en route Samarkand – St. Petersburg, headed to Moscow, the press service of Uzbekistan Airports reports.
The crew decided to proceed to the alternate airfield at Domodedovo due to a snowstorm at St. Petersburg airport.
Airbus A321 landed at the airport with 179 passengers on board at 12:50 pm Tashkent time.
