Information was given about the work done by the Business Ombudsman.
In 2022, 20,928 violations of the law were committed against entrepreneurs, Jamshid Khasanov, the head of the Business Ombudsman information service, reported.
During the year, a total of 9,850 appeals were received from business entities, in 4,319 cases (48%), the entrepreneur’s rights were restored, and a legal explanation was provided for the rest of the appealing parties.
18% of received appeals are related to taxes, 14% – land, cadaster and architecture, 14% – banking and credit, 9% – infrastructure, 6% – court and other issues.
2,591 measures of influence were applied in connection with cases of law violations committed against entrepreneurs, of which 2,126 officials and responsible persons were issued reports on administrative violations and they were imposed a fine of 5.1 billion soums.
In 797 cases related to administrative offenses, the legal documents on appeals of natural and legal entities were violated, 675 cases – checking the activities of business entities, 414 cases – violating legal documents in the field of public service provision, 240 cases – other violations.
In terms of regions, the most cases of administrative offenses were recorded in Namangan region (243 cases), Samarkand region (205 cases), Tashkent city (189 cases) and Kashkadarya region (183 cases).
This indicator was distributed by sectors as follows: 321 in the system of sanitary-epidemiological peace and public health service, 250 in the tax authorities, 194 in the system of the Ministry of Construction and 179 in the system of the control inspection over the Agro-industrial complex.
At the same time, claims worth 51.3 billion soums representing the interests of entrepreneurs have been submitted to the court.
As a result of the actions taken, 198 illegal decisions and documents were canceled, 123 responsible persons were brought to disciplinary liability, and the property rights of entrepreneurs to 436 hectares of land were restored.
