Restrictions imposed on stations that sold low-quality gasoline and increased the price unreasonably

According to the Ministry of Energy, 109 petrol stations belonging to business entities in Uzbekistan committed a number of violations – unjustified price increase, deficit, distribution of low-quality products, under-filling and other cases.

Their number is 4 in Andijan region, 8 in Bukhara region, 4 in Jizzakh region, 19 in Kashkadarya region, 5 in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, 4 in Namangan region, 26 in Samarkand region, 1 in Surkhandarya region, 5 in Tashkent region, 7 in Tashkent city, 22 in Fergana region and 4 in Khorezm region.

For example, it was found out that the quality of Ai-92 gasoline was poor, and the price of Ai-80 gasoline was increased (7,000 soums) in the branch of the “Ravon oil texservis” located in the Izboskan district, Andijan region.

It was identified that the quality of Ai-92 gasoline was poor at the branch of “Buyuk Kurgon” enterprise located in the Kurgantepa district, the price of Ai-80 gasoline was increased (7,000 soums) at the branch of “Vodiy Trans Oil” enterprise located in the Khodjaabad district, and the quality of Ai-92 gasoline was low.

Ai-92 (5,001 liters) type gasoline was found to be of poor quality at the branch of “Shirin” private enterprise located in the Bogot district, Khorezm region, and a case of underfilling of Ai-80 gasoline was found at the branch of “Avtogaz Muqaddas” enterprise in the Tuprokkala district.

It was found out that Ai-92 gasoline was of poor quality at the stations belonging to the “Davr plus” company in the Uychi district, Namangan region, and “Furqatjon oil” enterprise in the Uchkurgan district.

“Restrictions on the purchase of Ai-80 gasoline through stock exchanges have been imposed and this will be controlled until these business entities eliminate the identified deficiencies. Cases of violations of the law are being assessed by law enforcement agencies,” the report said.

According to the Ministry of Energy, sufficient quantities of gasoline are being traded. In particular, since the beginning of the month, an average of 7,137 tons of gasoline has been put up for sale through stock market trading. Also, 1 liter of Ai-80 gasoline is sold at 5,700 soums at all gas stations belonging to Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
