Kindergarten workers to get a pay rise
In 2023, the salary of teachers in preschool educational institutions will be equal to the salary of teachers in secondary schools. The salaries of directors of kindergartens, assistant teachers, employees of kindergarten kitchens and accounting departments will also increase significantly.

This was announced by the official of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education Mavluda Askarkhodjayeva at an AIMC briefing.
According to her, this year the wages of employees of the preschool education system will be increased as follows:
- the salary of pedagogical staff will be equal to the salary of a teacher of a secondary school;
- the salary of the director of the preschool educational institution will be equal to the salary of the director of a secondary school (groups 3 and 4);
- the salary of an assistant educator will be increased by 70%;
- employees of the canteen and accountants will receive a 100-percent allowance.
